Nurin Retro Love Blouse

Retro is BACK!!

This time we made a blouse for a very cute and sweet little Nurin who is 2y.o and this blouse is size 2.

Pn.Iniey (a returned customer) ordered a blouse with the same design as Amani Peach Blouse BUT with long sleeves.

Still, PIPOP chose the fabric this time.

*to be honest I was a little afraid this time because I chose black and white colour fabric..

what if Pn.Iniey doesn't love the blouse?

What if she really hates dark colours?

Dup..dap..dup..dap.. my heart was pounding ever since I cut the fabric.........

............until I posted the finished blouse's pictures on FB.

BUT..

Right after I tag Pn.Iniey the picture album on FB,

(she was online-which I didn't aware of)

she automatically "Like" all the pictures!

Hah~~ I was so relieved..

Alhamdulillah..

This blouse is not a very long blouse. Its length is right on the butt line.

It's very breezy and also suitable if worn as cardigan.

Two BIG hazel colour buttons sewn at the front bodice.

One OVERsize flower also sewn on the right chest. 

Lots of ruffles on the hem all the way from the right side and around, to the left side.

The stripy fabric is cut to make bias tape which was sewn as the finishing for the sleeves, skirt hem and neck.

Ruffles are sewn around the neck.. so sweet =)

Purple Dreaming

In the name of Allah the most Merciful and the Most Compassionate

Today I would like to share with you Purple Dreaming dress size 4 for Najwa. Her mother had ordered a heel height dress with short sleeves and a big dark purple flower on the front bodice. The fabric was chosen from PIPOP store at the available fabric facebook album. FYI this fabric is Italian viscose.

I made an A-line skirt in two tiers with ruffles along the second tier line. The waistline is sewn with yellow knit fabric and on the centre it is embellished with big purple flower. At first I already made a big flower, but after some time, I had new information that Najwa looove BIG flower so I asked her mother if she wants a bigger flower and she certainly says yes! So the new flower is here..surely you can see he difference right? What an upgrade! hihi..

Other details are, Purple Dreaming dress has puffed sleeves and round neck with zippered at the back. That's all for now...see you then!

Peach Green Garden

This is a size 4 blouse, made using cotton fabric that has some textures on it. It is a very sweet peach colour and has cute characters on it and some 'Green Garden' wording. So that's how this blouse got its name =)

It is an A-line blouse, with rectangle neck. This is my first attempt with rectangle neck and I love the result because it gives a very smart looks at each angles of the rectangle. The only drawback is the neck opening is too wide (at least for me) so I added some elastics on the back part of the neck opening. Maybe next time I should lessen the calculation.

The sleeves were puffed, there are bias tape sewn on the hem line of the bodice and I added U-shape ruffles on the chest. For extra special, a twirling peach bias tape was sewn on the centre of the ruffles. Can you see how the bias was twirled around? Love it!

Assalamualaikum

I've been busy with schedule on orders and I love every seconds of it =).

Now sewing for girls is like addiction to me =) but sure this addiction is not bad at ALL right?

This blouse has been sold to Ama for her 2y.o Amani before I have the chance to name it. So Amani Peach sounds perfect for it. I love the clean design and the sweet soft peach colour and I love the ruffles and I love the big buttons so I can say that I LOVE every little thing about this blouse =) too bad I have to let it go..

Hopefully one day Ama can upload one pic of Amani wearing this blouse. Amani is a very cute and sweet girl just FYI..
